Software Questions

There are three primary ways to access statistical software.

1. Lab Computers
   Depending on the software, the program you need may be accessible through BYU lab computers in the KMBL.
   
2. BYU Cloud Apps
   https://cloudapps.byu.edu provides statistical software (Stata, SPSS, & SAS, etc.)
   To access:
   Step 1. Log Into Cloud Apps
   Step 2. Click 2025 BYU Standard Desktop-All Apps
   Step 3. Type the statistical App in the search window at the bottom
   Step 4. Select Pin to Task Bar for easy future access
   Step 5. Activate the program for analysis/modeling
   
3. Personal License
   You are free to purchase a personal license for any program. This option is costlier. You will want to make sure you purchase the correct license for your use cases. Other software like R/R Studio are free.
